Pizza Brutta in Middleton

I absolutely love Pizza Brutta. Their crust has great flavor. The combination of the crust being crispy but yet chewy makes it the perfect vehicle for the toppings. The red sauce brings brightness that contrasts the creamy, salty cheese perfectly. Can you tell this is my favorite pizza??!! I've tried many wood fired pizzas and no one can beat Pizza Brutta. I live 2 hours from Madison, so I try to stop every time I'm there. (Pictured is Greco without onions)

My husband and I had lunch here. It's a great place with delicious food and friendly staff. You order off the menu at the front counter and they bring the food to your table. We had a salami pizza and garlic bread sticks with marinara sauce. Both were very delicious. Look forward to coming back and trying out some of their other items on the menu.

My wife wanted to try, we loved it, will be back !

Got pizza to go and salad while we were waiting. Didn't have a very long wait. The pizza was very good, but we got anchovies on one of ours because we were being adventurous and never again. Not a complaint, but a dumb thing for me personally. One of the coolest things about the room was the large quantity of soundproofing foam on the ceiling. It is a very tall room and usually you can't hear across the table in a place like that but they really went all-out on that. Neat place.

Wood fired pizza ready in five to ten minutes. Here's the thing, I want to like Pizza Brutta more but I like classic pizza toppings and I have trouble finding one of their specialties that fit my tastes. I did try the Americano last time I was there and it was pretty good. It also didn't suffer from the soggy middle that a lot of the specialty pizzas do. I'll probably go back sometime.

It's a little pricey but totally worth it. I love the fact that all of the ingredients are locally sourced. We tried 4 of their recipes and loved them all. Though, I think from now on we will take the pizza to go.

This is my son’s favorite restaurant because it has the best pizza, best service, and is fast. Never fails to put a smile on his face. Great GF crust & fresh toppings.

Pizza was delicious. Was ready quickly, which I'd expect, as it is one of those Napoli wood fired oven pizza joints. I only give three stars because it's pricey. I don't feel like you should have to pay 12+ dollars for a pizza that you can eat by yourself and still be hungry afterwards. They do have a kids pizza there for half the price which I ordered for my kid. When our pizzas came out, hers was nearly the same size as mine. Just coated half as much. Next time, I'm ordering one of those for myself as well! If recommend anyone else do the same!

Pizza looks amazing, although they have Gluten free options they are not a gluten free friendly kitchen. It’s unfortunate as my significant other has a gluten allergy. Wish they had a separate space for preparation of gluten free pizzas

Oh my GOODNESS! They take pizza to the next level! We had an app and two (small) pizzas. All of it was soooo yummy! We didn't get any pictures bc we started right in. The whole place smells amazing. There were families there with smaller children, also. It reminded me of when i was a kid and we went for pizza. It was a good time with good easy food. Would recommend the honey pizza! They served it at the yum yum fest and i was so happy too see it on the menu❤ will return and do recommend to all pizza lovers

Pizza Brutta is one of the best fire-wood pizza places out there. While the food is a bit pricey, the pizza its self is delicious. For fire-wood pizza, the food comes out unbelievably fast. The environment is a lovely and cozy place to be. The decorations mimic those of a log cabin. The pizzas are a bit small for their price, but are delicious. Same goes for the toppings. Fast + Yummy = Five Stars

Great interior decorations and I love fresh pizza made in a wood fired oven. Awesome oven you can watch them cook in. Nice staff.The ingredients are top quality. Ive had multiple pizzas and love them all. Have also had the beet salad which was very good - No complaints here except the price. The iced tea isn't so good, almost tastes burnt and/or musty. It's always like that, so I suggest changing brands or your process.Overall, it's a little pricey, but very good. And a great place to bring kids.

If you like wood-fired pizza, this is the best around. I recommend the quattro formaggi. They also have great sandwiches during lunch.

Place serves a traditional Neapolitan style pizza with attention paid to traditional, local and fresh made ingredients! Mozzarella is made fresh on-site daily! Italian Caputo 00 flour available mozzarella di bufala, local dairy, cheeses and produce...What more can you ask for!!?Unfortunately, I don’t live here because with the super reasonable prices, I’d be here weekly at least!Love the pizza and the super friendly owner and staff! Keep it up and wishing them all the success!!

It wasn't terrible, but the pizza was pretty bland. They don't wear gloves, which turned one of our party off from eating anything. They have limited vegan options, and we're otherwise underwhelming. On the other hand, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff were courteous. I likely wouldn't go again with many better pizza options in the Madison area.

Delicious pizza! Haven’t been to this Pizza Brittany before and decided to try it out and was NOT disappointed! Truly fresh and amazing-tasting food! There was a line when we first arrived- people love this place- but it moved fast and gave us time to peruse the menu. They have seasonal items- a specific salad and pizza- and then they have a pretty my large menu of options. Overall, I was very impressed and will be back!! Plus, for the holiday season, they have a deal going where you buy a $40 gift card, you get a free pizza (up to like a $8 value), which is amazing! You can’t use the gift card if you want food at the same time, but stop in at lunch and buy one and then come for dinner and use your gift card and get a free pizza 👍🏻

The texture of the thin crust is very good (crispy) because they're baked in a high-temperature stone oven.

The pizza is your typical "rustic" Neapolitan style that seems to be all the rage right now. Everyone's doing it though, so what makes Brutta special? Nothing. The toppings are pretty sparse unless you order extra. Their crust is kind of chewy and soggy once you get past the wood-fired appearance on the outside. Prices are fairly high for what you get. I shouldn't have to double up on toppings (at an additional charge) just to have a pizza where the toppings cover the crust.The service we experienced was spotty. We waited for our pizza longer than others. They got our order wrong at first. I will say that everyone was nice - that counts for something.But ultimately, there's just not enough here to make me come back.

Ordered two pizzas to go. Service was friendly and fast! The decor is really nice and there is ample room to sit. I love the firewood wall! I recommend stopping at Pizza Bruta if you are looking for some great pizza with local ingredients!

The staff is friendly, there are gluten free options, and the pizza tastes great--especially when the staff gets your order right. The reason I'm rating two stars is because the staff at the Middleton location has gotten our order wrong four times so far, and I expect it'll happen more in the future. Overall, I'd recommend eating here... Just check your order carefully before bringing it home!

One of my friends works here (Middleton location) as a server and the service and food is awesome at both locations! I usually order the Nostrano pizza (Basil, sausage, roasted red peppers). I don't think I have any complaints, this place is great.

Brutta may mean ugly in Italian but the pizzas here taste beautiful! Fast, easy, with lovely house pizzas and a great beverage selection, Pizza Brutta is a great choice no matter how you slice it! Mangia!
